Shadowfax LLC is currently located at the beautiful Yule Farm on Garth Road in Albemarle County, Virginia. We are lucky to be situated on a 250 acre farm with miles of trails to ride on. We have a lovely blue stone arena with a full course of jumps and a smaller sand lounging ring. We have two barns, with a total of 14 stalls, wash rack, feed room, and two tack rooms. We welcome visitors.

Michael Bordwell:

Michael first started his career in show jumping under Ian Millar in his hometown of Perth, Ontario in Canada. He then went on to work for other show jumping greats such as Nona Garson and the late Tim Grubb. Michael has spent the last 6 years working in the horse racing industry, mostly with Steeplechase Horses and for some of the top names in the business including hall of fame trainer Jonathan Sheppard. Michael has moved back to Charlottesville and joined Shadowfax LLC to refocus his work in the show horse world.

Baily Dent:

Baily founded Shadowfax LLC after years spent working for many top professionals. She has ridden for top sales horse barn Laureling Farm under Jay Golding, “R” judge Ellen Shevella, Mrs. Elizabeth Burke and her Meadowbluff’s Farm, and Dr. Daniel Flynn at the Barracks stud. She and Michael continue to train horses for Dr. Flynn as well as conduct their own training and sales business from Shadowfax.
